Project Force Multiplier
At THOHF, we strongly believe that the only way to end child sexual abuse is by making it a citizen’s movement. Our program Project Force-Multiplier (Pilot), strongly carries this belief forward by educating the citizens within the slums and local communities through a Training the Trainer program, and arming them as First Responders for Child Sexual Abuse within their habitats.
The 3 day training workshop touches upon various types of CSA , the short & long term impact, variables involved as first responders to any untoward incident, and a detailed breakdown of the child rights policies and laws like POCSO.
The objective is to create an army of social workers (“soldiers”) who will then disseminate awareness and education on this issue to local children and other adult stake-holders within the local geographies, areas and communities. The benefits of this program is that it’s easily replicable, scalable pan-India and also cost-effective if measured in terms of `Cost per child protected’.
